Exit bars are an easy solution for commercial door access and exiting. The expertise can easily install surface mount rim style panic exit bars but sometimes measurements on the panic bars may seem to fit the stile of your door. If we talking about glass doors the aesthetics of what is seen through the door should be considered but in a standard panic crash bar the rear is not meant to be seen and would not be pleasing to see through the glass.
These exit bars are designed the same in which you will always have a manual exit from the building but sometimes it is not as easy to decide how to allow access from the exterior. It all depends on the purpose of the door. In that case you may decide to have door trim on the outside or not. If the door is not a heavily used exterior door you may use a panic crash bar with cylinder lock access which result in key access only and automatic locking as soon as the key is removed from the door. If the door is heavily used outside trim such as knob or lever handles can be used that would be locked or unlocked and general access can be allowed.
